OpsMavix vs Linnworks

Two different purchases, not two versions of the same one. Linnworks is software you subscribe to on their terms. OpsMavix is a system built around your operation that you then own. Here is what each side actually offers, using Linnworks's own published figures.

What each of you actually gets

UK multichannel order and listing management: orders from every marketplace in one queue, listings and stock kept in sync, dispatch automated.

Linnworks figures are their own, published on Linnworks pricing and checked on 9 September 2026. Vendor pricing moves, so confirm the current number with them before you decide anything.

  • Overages above your tier
  • Which products you take
  • Scope, agreed once, in writing
In the base
  • Order management, inventory, listings, shipping integrations and analytics, depending on the package
  • Unlimited users. Adding staff never changes the price
  • Unlimited orders, products, locations and records
  • The integrations your operation actually needs, built in
  • The code, the data and the hosting account, in your name
  • Documentation and a recorded handover at launch
Costs extra
  • Separate products priced on order volume
  • Forecasting charged as a flat fee
  • Onboarding
  • Hosting, billed to you by the provider at their price with no margin added
  • Optional ongoing support, if you want it
  • Further work, quoted per piece, only if you ask for it
Onboarding

A one-off fee that Linnworks says is "calculated based on your needs, the timing of your implementation, and the resources you have available internally".

Part of the build, not a separate invoice.

Where Linnworks is the better buy

A seller whose problem genuinely is channel sprawl. If the pain is orders and listings across several marketplaces rather than how you manufacture or account for things, this is a mature tool that does that job now.

If that describes you, take them seriously. A comparison page that never concedes anything is an advert, and we would rather you bought the right thing than bought from us.

Across all 19 systems, 75% of complaints were about the relationship rather than the software, and nearly a third never criticised the product at all. Read the research and the method.

Where an owned system is the better buy

  1. Your process is the thing that makes you money

Packaged software makes you pay twice when your process is unusual: once for the licence, then again in the workarounds. A system built around your process has nothing to work around.

  2. You do not want the bill to grow with the business

Look at what the meter runs on above. Users, orders, integrations, locations. Every one of those is a number you are trying to increase. In our data, reviewers citing several years of use complain about price and contract terms 57.9% of the time, against 33.2% for newer customers.

  3. You want the thing you run on to be an asset

You hold the code, the data and the hosting account. No renewal, no notice period, no repricing conversation, because there is nothing to renew.
