The real problem

Why buy a full ERP to solve one part of your business?

If what you need right now is better inventory, orders, purchasing, warehouse control or another part of the operation, you shouldn't have to buy a giant system just to get it. Start with the software you need now. Get that part working properly. Then add more when it makes sense.

No paying for 100 features just to use 20.

Too much, or too little

Spreadsheets aren't enough. A full ERP may be too much.

  • Spreadsheets can only take you so far.
  • Most off-the-shelf tools still leave gaps your team works around.
  • Full ERP projects can mean months of implementation and a much bigger budget.
  • You end up choosing between software that does too little and software that does far more than you need.
Right-sized

Start with the system you need now.

  • We build around the way your business actually works.
  • Start with the area you need most: inventory, orders, purchasing, warehouse, CRM or another core process.
  • Get live visibility, clear ownership, alerts and automation where they matter.
  • Built in 30 days for a fixed price.
  • Add more when you need it, all the way to a full ERP if your business grows into one.
How the Core System works

Don't replace everything. Build the one part that matters, first.

Three simple steps. We agree what it should do, we build it around your business, and you see it working before you go live.

We agree exactly what it must do

Before anything is built, we agree it together: what goes in, what should happen, and what should come out. That's what we build. No vague software project.

We build it around your business

We turn your one core operational area into a working system, connected to your data, with the automations and dashboard you actually need. Built around how you work, not the other way round.

You see it working, then go live

Your team tests it against what we agreed. We fix what needs fixing, train the team and launch, with 2 months of support after. Expand only when you're ready.

And you get three extras

Everything to make the first system land, and show you what's next.

Practical extras that get the system adopted, keep your data yours, and show you what to build next (and what you don't need yet).

Included

System Growth Roadmap

We show you what to build next, and what you don't need yet, so you never waste money adding things just because "an ERP has them".

Included

Automation Opportunity Map

While we're inside your operation, we spot the next manual tasks worth removing, so you leave knowing where your biggest wins are.

Included

Team Launch Pack

A simple guide showing your team how the system works and what to do, so it doesn't end up as another tool nobody uses.

Included

Agreed Acceptance Criteria

Before we build, we write down exactly what "working" means. That's the yardstick. No vague, open-ended software project.

Included

Controlled Go-Live Plan

A test-and-switch plan that keeps your day-to-day running while the new system takes over, with no big-bang cutover and no downtime scare.

Included

Data & Handover Pack

The system, the data and the work are yours. Documentation and exports so nothing stays trapped with us. You never get stuck because you started here.

All included in the Core System
No separate charge, no add-on fees for these.

The Core System Guarantee

You pay the second half only when it's working.

Before we start, we agree the scope and acceptance criteria together, in writing. You pay 50% to begin. The final 50% isn't due until we demonstrate the agreed Core System doing what we said it would. You know exactly what we're building before we start, so there's no vague transformation project and no runaway implementation.

This applies where agreed information, access and decisions are provided on time, third-party platforms remain available, requirements do not materially change and the issue sits within OpsMavix’s confirmed responsibility. Final commercial terms are documented in the agreement.

Fit before pitch

Start small without getting stuck small.

This is built for a specific kind of business. When you grow, we build onto what you already have, up to a full tailored ERP. Nothing gets thrown away, and you don't pay twice for the same foundation.

A strong fit when you...

  • Run a UK business selling or making physical products.
  • Have one part of your operation that's clearly holding you back.
  • Have several people touching orders, stock, jobs or fulfilment.
  • Lose real time to spreadsheets, checking, chasing or re-typing.
  • Want a system built around your business, not the other way round.
  • Want to start in the next couple of months.

Probably not a fit when you...

  • Want free or off-the-shelf software you can download and use today.
  • Don't run a real business with day-to-day operations to build around.
  • Just want the cheapest thing that exists, whatever it actually does.
  • Want a quick template or one-off tool, not a system built around how you work.
Common questions

The things owners usually ask before they say yes.

How is this different from off-the-shelf software or an ERP?

Off-the-shelf tools give you a place to put information, but you still move it, check it and chase it. A full ERP gives you 100 features, a big bill and months of setup. The Core System sits in the middle: we build the one part you need into a working system, built around how your business runs, so the system does that work. You own it outright, instead of renting a generic tool per user every month.

Do we own what you build, or rent it?

You own it outright. The system, the data and the hosting run on your own standard cloud account. No per-seat licence and no compulsory monthly fee, so adding people later doesn't push the cost up. Optional support is there if you want it, but it's never a condition of using what you paid for.

Do we have to replace everything at once?

No, that's the whole point. We start with the one part that's costing you now. It may connect to systems you already use, improve what runs between them, or replace only the piece that's broken. We confirm the right approach on the free Fit Call.

What if we grow and need more later?

We build onto what you already have: inventory, orders, purchasing, warehouse, CRM, finance, automation, all the way up to a full tailored ERP if that's where you end up. Nothing gets thrown away and you don't pay twice for the same foundation. You add what you need, when you need it.

How does payment work, and are there hidden costs?

The price is fixed and agreed in writing before we start, once we've scoped exactly what we're building on the call. You pay half to start and the final half only when we demonstrate the system doing what we agreed. Any third-party licences or connector charges outside the written scope are disclosed before we start. New requirements are optional changes, never hidden additions.

What if our process is a bit unusual?

Good, that's usually why the generic tools didn't fit. We start from your actual process, your requirements and real scenarios. We don't assume a generic workflow is right. The aim is to keep what works and fix what's costing you time, money or headaches.

What if an outside platform limits the integration?

We review what's possible and any known limits before we confirm. The guarantee can't cover a third-party platform that withdraws or blocks required access, but we'll explain the dependency and the alternatives up front.

What does support cost after launch?

Your first 2 months of full 24/7 Control Care come included free with the Core System. After that, questions and simple things are always free (no clock, no contract), and Control Care is optional at £300/month, rolling.

How quickly can we start?

Start dates depend on fit, access and current capacity. The free Fit Call tells you whether the Core System is right and what needs to be ready before we book a start date.
