OpsMavix vs Cin7

Two different purchases, not two versions of the same one. Cin7 is software you subscribe to on their terms. OpsMavix is a system built around your operation that you then own. Here is what each side actually offers, using Cin7's own published figures.

What each of you actually gets

Two related products: Cin7 Core (formerly DEAR) for inventory, production and accounting integration, and Cin7 Omni for larger multichannel and EDI operations.

Cin7 figures are their own, published on Cin7 pricing and checked on 9 September 2026. Vendor pricing moves, so confirm the current number with them before you decide anything.

Where Cin7 is the better buy

A product business that wants broad inventory, light manufacturing and accounting integration off the shelf, particularly where EDI or many sales channels are involved.

If that describes you, take them seriously. A comparison page that never concedes anything is an advert, and we would rather you bought the right thing than bought from us.

Across all 19 systems, 75% of complaints were about the relationship rather than the software, and nearly a third never criticised the product at all. Read the research and the method.

Where an owned system is the better buy

  1. Your process is the thing that makes you money

Packaged software makes you pay twice when your process is unusual: once for the licence, then again in the workarounds. A system built around your process has nothing to work around.

  2. You do not want the bill to grow with the business

Look at what the meter runs on above. Users, orders, integrations, locations. Every one of those is a number you are trying to increase. In our data, reviewers citing several years of use complain about price and contract terms 57.9% of the time, against 33.2% for newer customers.

  3. You want the thing you run on to be an asset

You hold the code, the data and the hosting account. No renewal, no notice period, no repricing conversation, because there is nothing to renew.
